Meet the team at the BDIA Showcase this October

Dentists’ Provident is proud that for over a hundred years, its board has remained predominantly made up of dental professionals, supported by insurance experts. This has ensured that the organisation always remains close to the profession.

As times change it’s refreshing to see Dentists’ Provident staying true to its origins and continuing to put members at the heart of everything they do.

The organisation had to say farewell to Kathryn Woolass who retired this summer after leading the board for nine years. Kathryn said “I would like to thank all my colleagues, past and present, for their support and wise counsel over the years. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to lead Dentists’ Provident and I wish the society every success and all the best for the future and I look forward to continuing to promote the good work of the society as a member for some time to come. I would also like to welcome Giles Kidner as our new chairman and wish that he finds this role as fulfilling as I have.”

Giles commented “I am delighted and extremely proud to be taking on the role of chairman at Dentists’ Provident. Kathryn has done a brilliant job taking us through many changes over the years and will be a hard act to follow. Working with a board of dedicated professionals is a privilege, and I believe we are still unique in being able to provide members with tailor-made plans, supported by excellent service. I look forward to meeting our members as their chairman at Showcase this year.”
