RegulationThe Society is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the statutory regulator under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. The FSA is the single regulator for all authorised persons in respect of every regulated activity in the investment business sector. The FSA is authorised to make rules and issue guidance and codes in relation to a wide range of activity encompassing the governance of, the conduct of business by, and the prudential supervision of, authorised persons. |
